Upper Float Mexican Bar and Grill

Located in Chiba city, Upper float is a hot spot for foreigners in the Chiba area. Not only do they have great food that reminds you of home but the atmosphere is comfortable, friendly and fun. This is definitely a foreigner-friendly establishment... they are have English menus and English speaking staff.

If you are a heavy drinker and like to party then Upper float might be the place for you. On the second Saturday of every month they have a "No-limit all you can drink and eat". For guys 3500 yen and girls 2700 yen (and 3500 and 2700 if you buy a ticket in advance) you can drink and eat all you want from 19:00 till closing time which is sometime around 4:00 in the morning!!! The drinks include Bass, Corona, Malts and a variety of cocktails.

In addition to the drink-fest they also hold an International party every month with a DJ, buffet of three types of dishes with one drink included, all for around 1800 yen!!! You can expect anywhere from 100 to 200 people for this party. Not only do most of the foreigners living in Chiba regularly attend but there is also a large number of Japanese. There are no language barriers at this party as many people can speak both English and Japanese!
