Miyako Okonomiyaki

Located in the Fujimi ward in Chiba City, Miyako Okonomiyaki or Okonomiya, is a new and clean place to have Okonomiyaki in Chiba. In Japan people used to never take a date to eat Okonomiyaki because the restaurants were usually small, old, and sometimes dirty. However, recently a lot of new and clean Okonomiyaki restaurants have sprung up and this has changed. Miyako is one of those new Okonomiyaki restaurants that challenges that old view. Not only is it spacious, clean, and it doesn't give you the feeling that you better eat fast and leave, but Miyako also has large rooms in the back for drinking parties (nomikai).

One can come to Miyako to enjoy Okonomiyaki, Teppanyaki, Yakisoba, Beef ribs (karubi) and more. If you have the right seat you can also see the chef cook right in front of you on the teppan grill. Good Okonomiyaki in a nice, clean environment.

Menus are in Japanese so if your Japanese is weak then you might want to go with a Japanese friend.
