Located in Nishi-Chiba directly in front of the central gate to Chiba University, Gagar is a hot spot for lunch among locals and students. Most popular are the lunch sets which offer one or more types of curry (depending on the set), Naan, saffron rice, salad, some spicy onions, and dessert(depending on the set). You can get a reasonably priced lunch, from 630 yen to 840 yen, and leave feeling full. .

Lunch isn't the only time to visit Gagar either. They have a complete dinner menu with sets just like the lunch menu. Both Lunch and Dinner menus offer free refills of rice and Naan.

If you are looking for a nice Indian restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and an authentic flavor then you might want to give Gagar a try. If you come for lunch then you might want to arrive early because some days students are lined up ready to eat here.
